Marianna Williams attended Brown University and received her BFA from the Rhode Island School of Design in 2012. Williams worked for Wier/Stewart, completed an independent studio project at the Arctic Circle, and finished her MFA with a concentration in Time Based and Interactive Media at the University of Pennsylvania in 2016. She has participated in both solo and group exhibitions throughout the Southeast, New England, New York, Philadelpiha, Los Angeles, Dallas, and in Rome, Italy and currently works in her studio in Philadelphia.

Williams continues to pursue projects which examine the role of personal history and migration in terms of our encounters with the environment.
