For me, aggression, sex and beauty go together. Much of my work has been about memory, for example, and my poetry comes from the intersection of these experiences. Nowadays if I make a drawing I'm trying to draw love, but love isn't always gentle.

I work primarily in New Medias, but this Winter I was given the opportunity to make a few paintings again, and it’s really helped generate a lot of ideas that I’m excited to bring into the interactive work. .
As a cyclist and generally a body oriented person I’ve always been drawn to sports that have this dogged spirit... you take a few knocks but you keep fighting. For me it’s a great metaphor for dealing with issues of the body, identity, and raising up the voice of marginalized or stigmatized individuals.
